NOTHING COMPARES!

"Choose my instruction rather than silver, and knowledge over pure gold. For wisdom is far more valuable than rubies. Nothing you desire can be compared with it."
Proverbs 8:10-11

My all-time favorite praise and worship chorus comes from this scripture. Nothing we could ever desire equals the love we can find in Jesus ¾ who is wisdom personified!

Okay, confession time. Who among us hasn't felt that if we were taller, shorter, thinner, heavier, or had a better job, and/or had lots and lots of money that we would could find happiness? Not true! All the gold, silver, or rubies in the world cannot buy happiness, love, or peace of mind. However, wisdom and Jesus will get us through anything unscathed. Oh, we may come out with fender-benders of the heart, but that is nothing that eternity won't heal.

So, if the old demon of doubt and "if I only" hits you today ¾ send him back to hell and praise God for the wisdom that goes beyond anything we can even imagine!

Lord, You are more precious than silver. Lord, You are more costly than gold. Lord, You are more beautiful than diamonds. Nothing I desire compares with You! Amen and Amen!
