FRANK OR FLATTER?

In the end, people appreciate frankness more than flattery.
Proverbs 28:23

Paul taught that we are to speak the truth in love. I guess he knew the scriptures!

I am a compliment giver. However, I don't give out empty compliments. If I say something good about you to your face or to another person it is with sincerity and I expect the same thing from others. Unfortunately, I'm not always that way with my family.

I am quite frank when it comes to my family. I just say whatever is on my mind without stopping and adding the fragrance of Christ to my statements. Will you pray with me that I will change?

Father, as we go about our day today help us to be frank with the fragrance of Christ as we speak the truth in love at Your direction!
