Who may worship in your sanctuary, Lord?
Who may enter your presence on
your holy hill?
Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right,
speaking the truth from sincere hearts.
Those who refuse to slander
others
or harm their neighbors
or speak evil of their friends.
Those
who despise persistent sinners,
and honor the faithful followers of the Lord
and keep their promises even when it hurts.
Those who do not charge
interest on the money they lend,
and who refuse to accept bribes to testify
against the innocent.
Such people will stand firm forever.
Psalm
15
Yes, this is the same scripture that I used yesterday…wonderful isn't it?
God wants us to know that He is in control. Oh, yes, we can be in control to a degree. We can make choices that take us outside the circumference of His will, but when we are submitting ourselves to Him ¾ He guides our paths. If we allow Him to guide our paths we will be walking the faith walk on a path that pleases Him!
Walking the faith walk with the Lord requires truth from a sincere heart. Unfortunately, there are those among us who think simply speaking the truth is enough, but the clue is that we are to speak the truth from a sincere heart ¾ which is a heart of love!
We need to be faithful followers of the Lord and trust His guidance. As you go to your place of worship this morning ¾ ask the Lord to show you if you are worshiping Him in Spirit and in Truth. Be careful ¾ He'll tell you!
Lord, we worship You with all that we have ¾ our body, our spirit, and our offerings. Please accept our worship today and keep us on the path that pleases you!
