84. Generosity

How do I act with a generous heart when I am starving for love, starving for attention, or starving for companionship? How do I fill this void, this hole inside me? Could it be, God, that you want me to pray, read, spend time with neighbors, friends and family, and act as though I am generous? If I act happy, generous, kind, silly, and energetic, then it will follow that I will have all these things? God, only you know who I can be.
