Friends Are Friends Forever |
Sharon and I grew up in a little suburb of Birmingham, Alabama
-- East Thomas. Physically, two doors separated us, but few things could
separate our hearts. Sharon is for real my "lifetime friend." There were
only a few years in our lives that we were both so tied up with family
that we didn't talk much, but time and life have proven that nothing can
separate genuine friends! Sharon created many of the graphics on the website, but in her "other" life she is a retired RN. Yet, the best thing she does is be a friend. |
EAST THOMAS DAYS From hopscotch to climbing trees We laughed alot and rode in cars We kept in touch all through the years Her baby boy Chris went ahead of her I hope that you too have a friend like Sharon That handsome young man with her on the right So, "To Sharon" I say with a smile on my lips If you have a friend that you love like this |
|
This is Chris. The picture isn't so good, but let me tell you, this is one good looking guy. He is missed by all of his family, including his fiance Susan. (The man with the beard is Truman.)

My husband wrote the following for me, but I want to share it here and dedicate
it to my friend Sharon: At some moment in eternity, many
ages ago, God decided to create the world and everything in it. God the Father
formed each item and each being to be a unique creation. God the Son instilled
within each creation the fluid which would carry life throughout it, being sap
in trees or blood in living beings. Then, God the Spirit breathed life into
creation. Into each part of creation a special gift was added; whether it was
an intelligence, a beauty, or just an ability to preserve itself in its surroundings
didn't really matter. It was a gift from God, and that made it special. You are a rose to me.
